One of the fastest growing satellite channel ‘Sri Shankara’ is the one and only depicting the culture and tradition of India in its programs is sitting pretty today. It is self reliant and slowing the blessings are turning as fortunes for the economic strength.

On December 21 at Royal Senate at 4.30 pm the grand finale to ‘Bhajan Samrat’ season 2 will be flagged off and then the 5th year of Sri Shankara channel will be celebrated.

The four competitive team for Rs.10 lakhs prize money are Norani Gopalakrishna Bhajana Mandali, Palakkad, Sri Vidya Vahini Sangeetha Vidyalaya Chennai, Ragaranjini of Hyderabad and Sri Sathya Sai Madhura Gana Sabha of Mumbai. Each of the team is given 30 minutes time for showing their mettle.

Kavitha Krishna Murthy, Poorna Das and Uday Kalyan Bhagavathar are judges for finalizing the winning team. 10 Bhagavathars will be honored on this occasion.

Mr Harikrishna, MD Sri Shankara channel, colleagues Balakrishna Pawan, Vinayak Pai, Venkat were present at the media briefing.

After condoling the death of Srikanta Datta Wodeyar and cameraman Sundarnath Suvarana Managing director Balakrishna highlighted the growth of the television channel that is always with Indian culture and heritage.

In between the programs on the grand finale day Mohammad of Maruthi Bhajana Tanda will be giving 15 minutes time for his talent exhibition.
